1. License grant
When you export a QR image file from QR Code Make, you may use that exported QR file worldwide for personal or commercial purposes without paying a license fee to QR Code Make, subject to these terms and the rights of others.
The license is non-exclusive, perpetual for the exported file and does not require an account or registration.
2. Your content
You retain responsibility for the URL, text, contact details, payment address, logo, name and other content you place in or around a QR code. You must have all permissions needed to use that content.
3. Permitted uses
- Websites, apps, social posts and digital publications.
- Packaging, menus, signage, posters, flyers, labels and business cards.
- Products, client work, events, education and internal documents.
- Modification of size, color, layout and surrounding design, provided the result remains lawful.
4. Excluded material
This license covers the QR image file generated from your input. It does not grant rights to third-party logos, trademarks, photos, fonts, example artwork, platform names or other material that may appear in samples or that you add yourself.
References to third-party products are descriptive only and do not imply affiliation or endorsement.
5. Restrictions
- Do not use an exported QR code for unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive or harmful activity.
- Do not claim ownership of the QR Code Make site, software, brand or template library.
- Do not use a third party’s protected content without permission.
- Do not imply that QR Code Make endorses, certifies or guarantees your QR code or destination.
6. Client work
You may deliver an exported QR file to a client as part of your work. You remain responsible for ensuring that the encoded content and all added branding are lawful and properly licensed.
7. No scan or destination guarantee
This license does not guarantee that a QR code will scan in every environment or that its destination will remain available. Test each final design before publication and keep control of the destination you encode.
8. Termination
The license ends for a file if you use it in material breach of these terms. Ending the breach does not restore rights that belong to a third party or make unlawful content lawful.
